SEO & AEO Case Study
Growing Search and AI Visibility for a Lakewood Ranch Real Estate Brand
A Lakewood Ranch real estate agent needed a stronger digital presence across competitive luxury, relocation, and community-specific searches. I developed the content, SEO, and AEO strategy for approximately 20 pages, then wrote or substantially rewrote most of the site.
Within four months of publication, the website expanded its top-three keyword rankings from one to seven. The number of keywords ranking in the top ten grew from 41 to 63, while tracked visibility in ChatGPT and Google AI answers increased by nearly 10%. The client also reported a consistent increase in inbound leads.

The Business Challenge
Lakewood Ranch contains dozens of communities with different home styles, price ranges, amenities, fees, builders, and buyer profiles. Prospective residents often begin their searches with a particular village, lifestyle, or property type in mind.
The agent needed the website to rank for individual Lakewood Ranch communities while supporting broader searches related to luxury real estate and relocation. The content also had to establish strong local authority, serve both buyers and sellers, and provide clear answers for AI search tools.
Much of the existing website required substantial revision. Several pages needed richer local information, more precise keyword alignment, and a clearer connection between the agent’s experience and the questions prospective clients were asking.
My Role
I led the research and content strategy for the engagement. My responsibilities included:
Real Marketing Solutions gathered client information, managed communication, edited the copy, and handled the technical implementation.
Research Grounded in Real Buyer Decisions
My 18 years in real estate helped me evaluate the project from the perspective of someone preparing to buy, sell, or relocate.
I understood that community pages needed more than broad lifestyle descriptions. Serious buyers also wanted practical details about ownership costs, home types, schools, access routes, builders, and nearby amenities. Relocation buyers needed enough context to compare communities from a distance.
I researched the agent’s existing website, competitor content, builder resources, community associations, and relevant public sources. I then developed the keyword strategy for the core site and individual community pages.
The research helped me identify two related opportunities:
- Capture searches from people already researching a specific community.
- Establish the agent as a useful local resource before a prospect was ready to schedule a conversation.
The Content Strategy
- Build search visibility around individual communities.
- Answer the questions that influence a purchase.
- Connect local expertise with credible proof.
- Support relocation buyers through the full decision process.
Documented Results
Top-three keyword rankings
Top-ten keyword rankings
AI search visibility
Lead activity
The ranking and visibility results apply to the complete website engagement rather than a single page.
I reviewed performance through Ubersuggest and Google Analytics during the four months following publication. Ubersuggest supplied the keyword-ranking and AI-visibility data. The client provided qualitative feedback about lead activity.
Real Marketing Solutions contributed editing, technical SEO, design, development, and publishing. Those elements supported the website’s overall performance alongside my content and search strategy.
What This Project Demonstrates
This engagement shows how subject-matter experience can strengthen SEO and AEO work.
My real estate background helped me identify the information buyers use to compare communities and evaluate an agent. Search research then helped me connect those decisions with the language people entered into Google and AI tools.
The completed website supports visibility across community, relocation, luxury, buyer, and seller searches while giving prospective clients detailed information they can use with confidence.
